New Mexico Counts 2020 Releases RFP for
Community Based Outreach to Parents/Caregivers of Young Children

New Mexico Counts 2020, a group of New Mexico foundations working to help ensure that all New Mexicans are counted in the 2020 Census, is pleased to announce a second grant RFP “Community Based Outreach to Parents/Caregivers of Young Children”.

Grants will be awarded to community-based organizations working on 2020 census participation in designated hard-to-count communities in New Mexico. The goal of this grant opportunity is to increase the participation rates of parents/caregivers with children under the age of 10 by 5% in an effort to address the under count of children under the age of 10 in New Mexico.

Grant awards range from $5,000 to $20,000 depending on the level of collaboration with other sectors. Applications from nonprofit and grassroots organizations, cross-sector collaborations, coalitions and/or networks that work with under-represented communities are encouraged to apply.
