New Mexico is home to some of the nations “hardest-to-count” communities that are at a higher risk of an unfair and inaccurate count in the 2020 Census. Accurate census data have a positive impact on our communities by ensuring everyone gets their fair share of resources and has a political voice. Join us to learn why funders should care about the 2020 Census and how they can help in New Mexico. We will introduce our NM Counts 2020 campaign and its impact in New Mexico and the communities we serve. Joining us are two national philanthropy leaders Gary Bass, the Bauman Foundation and Maggie Gunther Osborn, Senior Vice President & Chief Strategy Officer, United Philanthropy Forum on behalf of the Funders Census Initiative.
